BACK TO NORMALAfter a huge threat from Gustav and calling all our customers for that week to reschedule due to not knowing where the hurricane would hit, business is back to usual after nearly a week off without customers. Dealing with hurricanes is the price we pay to live on the coast, and it's better to be safe. We appreciate all the clients who understand and rescheduled for a better day.

FISHING REPORT

Captain TJ just took delivery of a brand new super model Majek Illusion and him and Captain David McClelland broke the boat in good on Thursday catching solid limits of red fish with top water lures. The best action has been on the windward shoreline. Trout fishing was spotty at best. Captain James Welder struggled to put Scott D. and guest on trout, they did manage a few nice fish and a couple of break off's from huge reds.

The lodge welcomed 22-guest in Thursday evening for a 6-boat trip on Friday…Reports to come! This weekend is busy with a large oil company arriving.

CORPORATE TO FAMILY "WE GOT YOU COVERED"

"While attending to the special needs of small private groups is a given, we consider corporate groups a specialty. The hunting and fishing lodge is the ultimate location for off-site meetings and team building. The staff at the lodge provides the perfect backdrop for combining business and pleasure. From contests to conferences audio-visual to meeting rooms we make the arrangements that fit the specific and varied needs of the group.
