Higher tides and salinity levels have made fishing tougher over the past weeks, but after days of the same formalities, fishing patterns have become much easier to predict. The lodge welcomed 16-guest with AGM for a dove/fish combo and several members got their 12 doves and there were plenty of opportunities to shoot if you moved to the doves flight paths. The next morning, we had a 6-boat day fishing trip with most boats doing very well on reds and score of trout. Fishing with live bait was the best method.

Thursday, the lodge welcomed 21-guest in for a 6-boat corporate retreat and tournament with Randy S. as host. Later in the day, I will welcome 9 dove hunters in for a blast & cast, along with 6 other guest in for a weekend fishing trip. Reports to come.

NEW 2009 CUSTOM AIR RANGER AIRBOAT

The lodge just took delivery of a new 18×8 air ranger airboat outfitted with a new 2009 496 EFI motor. We would like to thank Stan and his staff over in Orange for another great boat. This boat has really cool seating arrangements and is rigged with all the latest electronics.
