Yeah Right Charters Fishing Report 8/31/08

It was nice to be back for a day of fishing. It was really extra special being able to spend the day with the guys from the Fayetteville,NC area.

They were Tim Holland, Gregory Potts, Howard Moore, from Spring Lake,NC and Eugene McPhaul from Cameron,NC.

I was afraid that after being out of service for a month that I may have lost contact with the fish offshore,"naw" I had everyone begging me to come to the dock before their fishing time was up!!!

They said that they were so tired of catching fish that they could not catch another one.

That's what I like to hear!! That way I know I have done my job for the day!!!

These guys caught Black Bass, Sharks, Amber Jacks, Silver Snappers, Grey Snappers, Vermillion Snappers,Triggerfish, King Mackeral, White Porgys, Scamp Grouper, Kelp Bass, and Strawberry Grouper.

Dang, I got tired just writing them all down!!!

It was great to be back for a day, now, let me explain this!!!

The Devil is working hard on me lately, but he does not realize that he or nothing else can cause me to loose my faith in God.

And, with God on my side, nothing or no body is going to stop me, and even though I haven't needed to go to the bank lately with all the cancelled trips, you can take the first sentence to the bank every day!!!

The new power head ran better than when the engine was new. Now, I guess you are wondering why I am not fishing today.

A little $60.00 part broke yesterday in the lower unit, and even though I could have left it in forward gear and run it that way, it wouldn't be safe, and safety is our #1 goal.

I will not take you out fishing if it's not safe, your money or fish are not worth taking ANY CHANCE !!!!

So, hopefully, this part will be more available than the power head was and if so or not, it's just another part of being in business and depending on mechanical man made machines.

THEY ARE GOING TO BREAK!!!!!!!!

If you haven't experienced these problems yet, don't worry, keep fishing and sooner or later you will!!

Just keep your faith and keep moving forward, don't let the Devil get you down!!!
