Half Day Fluke AM
We had good fishing in the AM. Joe Ringelstein took first place with a 5.3lbs fluke. Tyler Romanek won second place with 4.8lbs.
Half Day PM
The action slowed down on this afternoons trip but we did still manage to catch some nice Fluke up to 9.05lb. Meg Smith from the Captree Princess was todays pool winner with a 9.05lb Fluke. Meg also had a 8.55 pounder. Second place was taken by Vivian Pan of New York City.
Full Day Porgies
Because Eric B said fishing was EXCELLENT yesterday, today we will say fishing was FANTASTIC! After a slow morning, fishing improved dramatically, the last two hours being great. A fine mix of medium to JUMBO scup. Both the sea bass and the porgies continue to show signs of fattening up for their fall migration to Block Island. Will McCovington and Jerry Eisenburg tied for 1st place porgy with a 3.3 pounder.
