Half Day Fluke Fishing PM
Fishing remained a bit tough and slow on the afternoon trip today. However any of the fish caught were good quality keepers. The winner of the pool was Ms Risa Link from Pelham New York who caught an 8.9lb fluke.
Full Day Fluke
Fishing was great the pool winners were Kan Gisun Queens NY with a 7.0lbs and Ms Christine Dassler Bohemia NY also with a 7.0lbs Fluke.
Full Day Porgy and Sea Bass
Porgy fishing was pretty good again today. Again we were fishing down the beach and everyone went home happy with a nice mix of large and medium porgies. The fish are starting to fatten up and all signs point to a fine fall run of porgies. Benjamin Moore won today's pool with a 3.1lbs porgy. Remember, the fishing limit goes up to 45 on Sept 1st.
Half Day Fluke Fishing AM
Fishing was a bit tough today- we had slack tide all morning, but we still managed to pull off a decent catch at the end. The boat had keeper fluke to about 5lbs.
