The Dock Outfitters NJ Fishing Report- 8-23-08

Crabbing has still not rebounded the way it should hgave after the full moon last week. Hopefully this weekend will get things going again. The Dock is producing snapper blues and a pick of kingfish and small black drum. Scotty has been working the night shift on the bay and catching weakfish consistently on sandworms. Fluking on the outside is decent with alot of short fish still being caught. Earl Simkunis and his crew headed out to the reef and had 30+ fish with 8 keepers to about 6 lbs… Blues have been in and out of the surf sporadically this past week…John
