The Dock Outfitters Fishing Report- 8-19-08

Crabbing has rebounded nicely since the passing of the full moon this past Sat. Snappers, weakfish and Kingfish continue to be the prime targets for those fishing the bay. ..Ray and Penny Nebus have been fishing from his boat for fluke regularly and while reporting many throwbacks they did have fish from 4-6+ lbs this past week and an average of about 4 keepers per trip. Fluking from the beaches remains good with mostly short fish being caught from the sand. Brown sharks and cownosed rays have made their presence known recently with some occasional blefish also being caught.
