This week offshore fishing started our fairly well; Big Game on 8/27 brought in 6 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Bluefin that weighed 135 pounds. That same day, Slammer had 9 Yellowfin. On the 28th., Top Shelf had 2 nice Yellowfin and an 18 pound Dolphin. Most of these fish were caught around the Elephant Trunk. On the 31st., several boats went offshore only to find the Yellowfin bite had diminished. Slammer, on an overnight trip that day, had a giant Tiger Shark and a Blacktip Shark up to the boat and released. He also had a 90 pound Bluefin and two Dolphin that he brought back to the dock (pictured).

Croakers on the inshore trips have become abundant and they're all a real nice size. Several boats have brought back coolers full of them.

Whether you're interested in offshore or inshore fishing or you just want to spend a few relaxing hours on the water sightseeing, porpoise watching or just watching the sun set in the west, our Charter Fleet at South Jersey Marina is ready to take you. Call 609-884-3800 for reservations.
