8-27-2008 *** ****** FISHIN REPORT BY Ripp ****** Well gang it looks like today will be my last day of Fishin till we see what happens to da Storm ( Gustav ) it all so looks like we gonna have to leave da bayou once again. we hopein dat it still turns and heads in another direction but right now it don't look good for us. i want to Thank John and guest from right here in da Big City for fishin with us today on short notice. dey was sure glad dey made da trip, i told him i taught it was gonna be a good day of fishin and i was right. we caught all 25 of our reds on gold spoons, we hit a couple of good schools dat stayed up on da surface for us. we stopped about 75 yards from where dey popped up dis mornin, we stopped right in a pretty big school of mullets but da reds came up away from us and all da mullets. when i seen da school i told dem knot to cast till i told dem, now i had all of dem up on da Bow with me but i told dem after dey cast and get hooked up to move down to da back of da boat so we wouldn't have everybody all tangled up and dat plan worked out just right cuz we landed all 4 of dem redfish, dey told me dat it looked like i been through dat drill before, i told John Yea maybe once or twice before today. i told dem i saw dat drill on TV from one of dem famous fisherman. we had a good day of redfishin and da water was flat all mornin long, it wasn't hard at all to see dem reds when dey came up. i did take a couple of good pictures of dem out on da water and i all so got a couple of good group pictures of dem back at da dock. i guess tomorrow will be our day to start packin up some stuff we want to take with us, i raised everyting dat i could in my boat shed & brought everyting dat could float away home to put in da my shed today and took everyting out of my boat i taught needed to be here. lots of tings to do and pack if you have to leave, den you don't know for sure how long you gonna be goin. just come back from Office Depot gettin me some plastic boxes for our imporant papers, gonna take my movie camera and go all around da house and film everyting we have, oh yea i'am gonna take some pictures of all da new stuff we just put in da house, new tub, new shower, new hot water heater, new carpet in a couple of rooms, listen to me stop what you doin right now and you try to picture everyting you got in each room of your house, man you can't do dat shit and your wife can't do it either so da best ting to do is to make a movie of all your belongins and take dat with you. trust me da best proff of what you have is to have it on a tape. i got to go and dig some big ice chest out from da shed and try to see if i can take everyting out of our freezers, ain't leavein nothin in mine, if i can't take it all i'am gonna throw it away ahead of time and i for sure ain't comein back and CLEAN nobody else is Freezers either, been dare, done dat. you know what dey say you learn from your mistakes. one old wise coon-ass told me dat long time ago. OK, i don't have a lab-top so i don't know when y'all will hear back from me but i will be back. Da Rippulator
