Hey gang. Fluking has been tough the last couple of days. Yesterday's roll on the ocean didn't help. Today's trip we went down off Monmouth Beach. Saw a few nice sea bass, short fluke and a lot of blues. Finished up in our channel and some more shorts. Hopefully tomorrow, fluking will bounce back. As far as bluefishing at 3:30, it's been consistent, very good at the mud. Some of the other boats are catching them at the rocks also. We've been going to the mud for the last 3 and a half weeks now. Tonight's pool winner was boated by Dawn Borsella of Red Bank, NJ. She's going to email me the picture tomorrow, I'll put it up on my next report. Good going Dawn. Brian brought up an exotic on tonight's trip. Maggie was checking it out. Bluefish is the best bet right now. Some of you regulars have been asking what we're going to fish for in the day time when fluking is over. Most of the guys in our harbor fish for the weak fish, but if they're not in, we'll go jigging for bass and blues until bottom fish season opens up. Thanks. Capt. Scott
