PROWLER 5 FISHING NJ Fishing Reports 8/19/08

Hey gang. Fluke fishing has been all right the last couple of days in the deep. Yesterday's pool winner was Bob Hode of South River, NJ with an 8 lb fluke. Today's pool winner was Charles Lanzasone with a 6 lb. fluke. Good action on the fluke today. As far as the bluefish trips, it's been excellent. We have family people out tonight catching them. Saturday and Sunday was an all out slaughter. P.S. On a sad note, just before we got in today, about a mile off the cut of Atlantic Highlands I came upon one of the dead dolphins. A couple of the other captains, Capt. Ron and Capt. Bunt saw one the day before around the same location.
