Pretty rough morning in Venice..super cell woke us up at 4am and hung around through 7am..we left the dock at 7am with Lake Area Electric crew split between Scott and Scott..Hunter and Chris Cannady crew left 4 hours later - they were hoping to make it out tna fishing but settled for jacks and handful of snapper and kings….it was pretty sloppy out there so they mafde the right call..we had 2 guys wash the deck with thier rear ends..it did calm out to 2-4 and 10-15 knots by about noon..my boat managed 3 groupers (2 scamps caught on the same jig) 12 red snappers and 31 mangrove snapper..Legers crew had 3 jacks, 5 grouper, 14 mangroves and 12 red snappers and three yellowtail snapper..made for a nice picture..
