Offshore the only boat that went specifically for tuna had a wonderful day catching a limit of nice size yellowfins. The party consisting of Ken Miller, Walter Ray Meads, Will Tankard, James Eure, Randy Wilson and Tray Byrum all from Elizabeth City. These sportmen were enthusiastic about their trip. The ocean was choppy. Thenpresenvce of the tuna was given away by birds and the calmness of the water over the school. They were feeding on squid.I got a call telling me that three more boats two that were concentrating on marlin another bottom fishing all got some of those tuna and their way in. Inshore boats caught tailor bluefish and spanish mackerel. Open boats caught speckled trout, flounders and puppy drum. Miss Oregon Inlet caught flounders
