Oregon Inlet Fishing Report 8/11/08

Several limits of dolphin were acheieved offshore. Limits of tile fih were also caught deep bottom fishing. A 35 pound dolphin was caught. Five sailfish, one blue marlin and two white marlin were caught and released. Inshore an all day trip caught tile fish, amberjacks and a few dolphin. Trolling for spanish mackerel was good in the morning. The afternoon trips caught spanish mackerel trolling and some king mackerel. Open boats caught flounders, bluefish and speckled trout on half day trips. An all day trip caught a cobia, bluefish and sharks. Miss Oregon Inlet's morning trip caught croakers, her afternoon trip caught more croakers.
