Almost Fall-like weather around here lately. Cooler temperatures mean better fishing is on the way!!Croakers moved into the mouth of the Indian River Inlet on Sunday. Most were in the 10-12 inch range. Plenty of fun!!
Also, had a report from the charter boat Miss Rilee from the Delaware Bay. Captain Ryan Marshall had croakers there too up to 14 inches.

Sporadic reports of striped bass in the Indian River Inlet. Just before and after daylight has been the best time to fish. We heard about a few sea trout in the mix as well. With the bite being hit and miss they are throwing everything in the tackle box at thme. No hot bait to report.

Tautog anglers had better get em while the gettin is good. The season will be closing in DE waters on September 1 for 4 weeks. There are some triggerfish, sheepshead and black drum along the rocks mixed in with the tautog

Plenty of undersized flounder around. The Gulp soft baits are hot for flounder right now. We are placing an order to get a fresh supply in by the end of the week. A few bigger flounder have been found in the deeper holes of the Indian River bay. A consistent bite has also bee reported around B Buoy and the Old Grounds (B Buoy is 8 miles due east of the Inlet - yes, that is out in the Ocean)
