In the darkness out we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we jigged and caught some small aku and shibi and ran an aku live. Our aku was only in the water 2 minutes before a marlin showed up on it and ate it and hooked up. It only took out 100 yards of line and came to the boat before it even jumped at all, then it went crazy 20 yards behind the boat then came in easy at gaff. When Scot baited he hooked a few big shibi and Jeff landed 2 big 56 pounders and a few smaller ones. It was some great action on light line, and Jeff did a super job on all these fish. good going.
