Weigh-ins for August 6, 2008: John Prillo Jr - 47 inch mahi (25.3 lbs) caught on chunk Brendan Popovich - 21 inch fluke (4.1 lbs) caught on Gulp Aside from the weigh-ins, the story is sharks off the beach at night, fluke and rays during the day time. The crabbing and snapper fishing has been off the charts on the bay side. Furthermore, Weakies are starting to show up at their usual August hot spots. I just spoke with Ray at the shop, when I asked him how he was doing he stated "I'm great, I'm on vacation!" He continued to make statements in reference to Tom and Mike being gone and how great things really are down there. So everybody come on down and have a great time with Ray and Paul on vacation. I will not post a weather report for the next week unless things get severe enough for evacuations. If you are that concerned about the weather then simply go to a weather channel website. Fish on!
