The weather guessers have this for today - Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s. Northwest winds around 10 mph. Updated at 7:45 AM! Small blues hit the beaches in short shots yesterday. The Party boats were working Fluke off the Seaside piers yesterday and Fluke off the beach continues to be good with bucktails & a Gulp bait getting the job done. The keeper ratio could be better but it is fun. The rumor mill has some bass being taken, but for some unknown reason, they aren't getting weighed in. We have plenty of wooden nickels and we ain't afraid to use them! The Trinidad Tarpon trip is only a few days away and it can't come fast enough! Mike has packed and repacked his suitcase until the zippers have started to heat up! I think he is going to weigh it again tonight to see if he can't squeeze a few more lures in it without going over the weight limit. I would hope he would put some clothes in it, I ain't gonna be his washerwoman. His head is pretty empty, maybe some lures would fit in there!

You want clothes you carry them!!!!!!!!!!! I am bringing some new Tiki Shads with me to try out. We will be getting them in the store after our return trip. These things work great on bass lets see what the tarpon think of them. We will have a new mystery reporter when we are gone so weigh in ALL your keeper fish so he will stay really busy…………..Mike
