The 1st Annual Seaside Park Fluke Tournament is today. We are expecting big things and will put the results up tomorrow.
The weatherman expects big things too - Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent. I just looked at the radar I give his 50% chance a 50% chance!
Mike Buber weighed in a 18.5" 2.0 lb Fluke he pulled out of the surf using a Gulp bait! He had a half dozen shorts as well. The night shift fishermen were getting some 5-6' sharks off the beach. Didn't hear of any blues yesterday, but a couple of short bass on clams were mentioned.
Mike has company in his bag packing misery! Now John has an overload! Now, I have two plug pigs casting sideways glances at my bag. This looks like trouble, but then again, Mike is involved!
Grumpy hisself
John and I figure if we promise to be GOOD the Grump will let us put some stuff in his bag too. I know he'll say yes cuz he knows what we're like when we're bad. And we can be bad!!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT GRUMP ????? Now I can bring more stuff!!!!!!!!!Mike
One of my reliable customers had large sharks from the beach and I had another come in the store in a panic for bigger hooks and more bait. Keep an eye on your rods they could disappear in a flash!!!!!!!
