Capt. Ray reported another excellent night of Striper fishing with a good number of keeper bass including some really good size fish up to 35lbs and at least one angler limit. Quite a few good size bluefish as well. Next Striper trip sets sail this evening at 7pm As a reminder in the month of September we will be Striper fishing Friday and Saturday nights by reservation at 7pm.Capt. Keith reported a decent night of Blue fish action but not quite as good as last weekend. Nevertheless anglers jigged up some good size choppers to the lower teens. The old fashioned jigs were the way to go last night and of course the infamous floating bait method engineered by Ginny and Bruce was also very effective with Ginny and Bruce both getting their limits and Ginny once again taking the pool! Way to go Ginny! Next bluefish trip leaves tonight at 7pm and it will be the last trip of the season for blue fish.

Capt. Don reported another decent half day AM trip with some nice fluke including a brace of 6lbrs plus a good number of big scup and keeper sea bass. Anglers were pleased with the pace of the action and most left with some fresh fish for the table. Only two more AM half day trips left for the 2008 season as Monday is the last AM half.

Capt. Paul reported the 8am full day fluke boat had a rather quiet day as far as the summer flounder were concerned however some good rod bending action with platter size scup and keeper sea bass kept anglers busy and gave them some fresh fish for a few dinners. Next and last 8am fluke trip for the season is tomorrow morning aboard the Admiral Frances. Starting Monday the Admiral Frances will switch to catching porgies all day long 8am to 3pm. Capt. Mike, Roger, and Capt. Chris would like to thank all the anglers who sailed with us on this trip and made it the best season on the beach yet!!
Capt. Rich reported a good day aboard the jumbo fluke and sea bass boat. The theme today was certainly sea bass and big ones at that. Over 100 good size sea bass came aboard with many of them over 2lbs and quite a few over 3.5lbs with the best in the 5lb range. Quite a few nice size fluke mixed in as well. Hi hooks on keeper fluke had upwards to 5 and 6 fish each and hi hooks on keeper sea bass had upwards to a dozen apiece with a decent number of anglers getting 4 to 7 sea bass apiece to take home. Some trophy scup to nearly 3lbs and a handful of bluefish to round out the day's action. Next 7am fluke and sea bass trip sets sail aboard the Gail Frances tomorrow morning.
