Capt. Don reported an excellent half day AM trip with a nice mix of keeper fluke and keeper sea bass for the customers today. Quite a few short fluke and sea robins kept the rods bent and things interesting throughout the morning. This has turned out to be an excellent week of half day AM fishing!!Capt. Mike reported and okay day of fluking along Rhode Island's scenic south shore beaches. Some good size fluke to 5lbs, quite a few shorts and some nice sea bass to 3lbs plus lots of sea robins kept anglers busy. Mr. O'grady had today's biggest fish with a nice 6lb slab and the majority of the keepers were around 4lbs. Mr. O'grady was also hi hook with a total of 24 fish caught today while another angler tried to keep up with his 4 keepers out of a catch of 17 fish and 5 keeper sea bass. Tandem bait rigs and spro jigs received the best response on the beach today. Next 8am full day fluke boat sets sail aboard the Admiral Frances tomorrow morning.

Capt. Rich reported a solid day of fishing aboard the 7am full day fluke/sea bass boat with good numbers of both good size fluke and nice size sea bass. The catches were extremely spread out today with no real hot shots although just about everyone went home with both fluke and sea bass. The Miles family from CT had a great day combining for a dozen big fluke to the 6lb pool winner skillfully brought to the net by fifteen year old Catelin Miles and they had a half dozen big sea bass and a couple bluefish! Not a bad day! All on rental rods too! Next 7am full day boat sails tomorrow morning aboard the Gail Frances.

Capt. Don reported a good day of whale watching today and the season is only another week and a couple days. Last day is next Sunday the 31st. For those coming Whale watching this weekend it is STRONGLY RECCOMENDED to be here an hour before the trip leaves at 1pm.
