Not too much from the surf. A few fluke with kingfish, croakers and blues. The blues are very spotty at best. Heard of some good size stripers being caught up north out of the rivers (around Sea Bright and
the Highlands). The Mud Buoy is your best bet for blues.
Shrewsbury Rocks is also producing some catches of blues. Reefs and wrecks are producing catches of a fluke, ling and sea bass.Barnegat Bay is producing good catches of kingfish, weakfish, and snappers with a few non keeper size fluke thrown in as well. Great Bay is producing catches of weakfish. Peanut bunker or Gulp is the bait of choice. Crabbing is doing ok but has dropped off a bit now.
