Weather has been good lately. But today was a washout with all the bad Thunderstorms we had with the stalled out front and precipitation that held over us all day. Warm and some wind on some days and very little wind on other days. Overall fishing is pretty good. We have been fishing for Redfish on the flats in the Redfish Bay, Corpus Christi Bay, and Aransas Bay areas. Water temperture is in the 83-87 degree range depending on where you are fishing and proximity to deeper water. Water is in great condition and clarity is good in most areas. Tides are pretty low, but still you can get to your fishing spots where fish are holding. Speckled Trout are biting good. Trout are in deeper water 4' to 10' depth. We are catching our Trout on Live Perch and Croaker. Trout are running around 17"-21" in length. Redfish are on the flats and will even get thicker on the flats over the next week or so and will be there until late to mid November until we get an extreme cold front which drops our water temperature dramatically over a short period of time.
