Today was an awesome day, I was greeted at the dock this morning by cool tempertures, a slight breeze and two anglers with a very positive attitude. My plan was to run out to the Jetties which has been the "Hot Spot" but when we got there the water was so dirty I decided not to even try it. We hit a few of the shallow water areas in search of Redfish and were rewarded immediately with a couple of 24 inch fish. We basically fished all the fall hot spots today and all of them produced. We ended up with 6 Redfish, 14 or 15 Speckled Trout, and three Stripers that were caught right on the saltwater/freshwater dividing line. Live shrimp fished on a float rig are very hard for the fish to refuse. Despite the mid week weather we still managed decent catches on most trips with Grey Trout, Speckled Trout, Flounder and a variety of small Sharks all being caught. Our great fall fishing is approaching fast and dates are starting to fill, so give me a call so you don't miss out. Catch you guys on another tide.
