This week we have found some nice Flounder in the creeks using live mullet. The rock jetties continue to provide the widest variety of species with Flounder, Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Blue Fish and Spanish Mackerel all taking live mullet. The Spanish Mackerel are much bigger than the the ones found in large schools, the ones we are catching seem to be individuals or pairs of feeding fish and they can put up a good fight on light tackle, but have a tendency to cut through the 30lb leader if they get the leader in the corner of their mouth. Now is a great time to Go Fish.
