8/29/08 UPDATED 5:24 AM The forecast for today was changed in the middle of the night to "AM Clouds, PM Sun". The rest of the weekend looks great with the usual "Isolated Thunderstorm" thrown in for Saturday. I'll let ya know more when the sun gets higher.YESTERDAY'S REPORT: UPDATED 6:44 AM Open all your doors, turn the AC off, and air out that house. We have a light east wind here and it is sweet. There are a bunch of scattered clouds and the sun keeps popping in and out. Almost like an early Fall morning, but definitely not as cold. Just talked to 2 sets of customers this morning. The guy, Rich F. told me that the action off the rocks for sea bass is just insane. Loads of them. The other group of guys told me that the snappers in the bay from the boats are ravenous so bring your snapper poppers if you are going out.

UPDATED 5:40 AM Spent the day with my wife yesterday so that's why no report. Not much new to tell you except that the weather remains gorgeous and the fishing is hit or miss. The inlet and bay is still the place to be. Fluke have been getting bigger as is usual for this time of the year. The fluking season ends on September 7th this year so get your fill now. They predicted is to be cloudy today, but I see a lot of stars in the morning twilight. I update you when the sun starts to come up and maybe I'll get some different reports today. Haven't been asking as much as I should, but the store has been mobbed and keeping the place stocked is a task. Poor me, waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!
