The lodge entertained KM Bruce D. group and customers on Friday with good catches of trout and reds, especially when you consider the wind conditions. Live bait continues to produce the best results. Check out our most recent photo of this groups catch. Out of the 16-guest and 5-boats, the average catch was 18 fish per boat. Friday morning we have the same group for day-3…Reports to come.POST TRIP COMMENTS
Capt Chris, First, I\'d like to thank you and Mr. Jimmy Burns for the Waterloo rods. They look and feel great! This past weekend was our third stay at Bay Flats, and each time it has only gotten better. Sherman did a fine job prepping our meals in the kitchen and your staff was top notch. The outdoor kitchen area was a perfect place to hang out and have a couple drinks while talking about the day\'s fishing. It also allowed for some good times hanging out with some of your guides and talking to them about their hunting and fishing experiences. All of them are great guys and I would enjoy fishing with any of them. Capt Chris Castillio did a great job putting us on fish on both days and making sure my dad, brother and I were having a good time. He is a great guide to learn from, and makes sure everyone gets off the boat with lifetime memories. Please let everyone know how much we appreciated their hospitality at the Lodge. Hope to be back soon to take out some ducks! Thanks again, Jim H

WEEKEND OUTLOOK
The lodge welcomes 16-guest Friday evening for a 5-boat trip on Saturday. On Saturday afternoon BFL host a wedding party with between 75 to 100 guests.
PATTERNS
Hard sand with grass beds accounted for the majority of our catches on Thursday. Trout have been in waist to chest deep water. Red fish schools are in full force right now, and at times busting schools can be seen from long distances crashing pods of mullet. Oyster shell has only been fair.
WEATHER FORECAST
Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 90s inland, and in the lower 90s coast. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
