Today I had John and some of his family members for a wreck trip. We started out at the SG reef on a wreck in 65 feet. The kids got into the action right away with keeper sea bass plus alot of shorts. John got a nice 6 pound blackfish and his nephew Robbie got the only fluke of the trip on this wreck at around 4 pounds. The current was running really hard from the north and the bite slowed so we left there and made a run 6 miles to the south and hit another wreck in 60ft. This wreck had alot of life on it with double headers of nice seabass and ling. Our total for the trip was 20 seabass, 10 ling, 3 blackfish and one fluke plus a huge silver eel. The weather was great and it felt good having some NW winds for a change. Nice trip! ~ Capt Carlos
