Had a great Friday with 27 king mackerels and tons of bottom dwellers while jigging for bait. Weighed in and 30 pound fish and was in 15th place, next day the crowd arrived at the not so secret spot and the bite slowed fish 3 fish were shark, cuda, and an amberjack. Then we boated about 12 kings biggest being 21 pounds. Slipped to 31st place the second day 1 place outside the money. Had a king bite me on the toe friday after throwing him in the boat, bite went down to the bone and neede 7 stitches and a few shots that night at the hospital, still able to fish the next day. Looks like we made it to nationals with the 30 pound fish.
