Saturday July 5
Night Striped Bass
Fishing was tough tonight - no wind and a very slow drift. The fish that chose to bite were healthy however, with a split pool of 34lb bass. Mike Brink of Lindenhurst and Mark Dally of Delaware both landed the cows and went home happy. Mike Bauer limited out with two beauties.
Half Day Fluke PM
Fluke fishing was good this afternoon. A lot of action and a few shorts. The first place pool winner was Robert Labay from Ozone Pk NY with a 6.7lb fluke. The second place was won by Mike Spagnola of Staten Island who had a 4.45lb fluke.
Half Day Fluke AM
Fluke fishing was good this morning. We had fluke to 7.55lbs. The first place pool was won by Kurt Lawrence from Manorville. The second place pool was won by Micah Schall.
