Sunday July 20
Half Day Fluke PM
Afternoon fluke was a bit slow, only a handful of fish were caught due to the afternoon weather conditions Mr Rob Urso won the pool with a 3.8Lbs Fluke.
Full Day Block Island Fluke
Captain Anthony reports a phenomenal day on the Viking Stariper. Many big fish were landed up to 10.05lbs. Eddie Chang was a super star on the full day boat. He had 4 keepers yesterday, and today he went looking for thebig fish. He got 4 of them. His first keeper was a 7.35lbs fluke and his second weighed in at 10.05lbs, which also puts him in second place in our $10 000 Viking Fleet Fluke Derby. Out of 22 anglers 18 had their limit and it was all quality fish. Block Island is alive with fluke. This is our second day in a row almost limiting the boat out. There is no better fluke fishing than full day Block Island fishing.
Half Day Fluke Fishing AM
The weather conditions made fishing a little slower today, but there were still some nice keepers being caught! The pool winner was Simon Mercado form Holbrook, NY with a 4.7 lb fluke.
Porgy and Seabass Trip
Due to the weather conditions todays trip was slow. The pool went to Gregorio Galicia from Astoria, NY with a 3.0 lb porgy
