Jul 02, 2008 04:10 pm Crabbing from the Dock and from the rental boats has been excellent the last few days. The boats are also reporting catches of snapper blues in the area of the 37 bridge. 12-16" weakfish are being caught in the area of Tices shoal on shrimp, worms and pink fin-s/BKDs… Ocean fisherman are reporting plenty of fluke to be had but the ratio of throwbacks to keepers is 20/1. The "Junkfish Kid" Scotty reported a good catch of stargazers off the Pier yesterday. Some other anglers had small fluke with a few keepers mixed in but Scotty remained true to his junkfish…John
