Captain Harold Dworczyk put John P. and customers on 22 trout while wade fishing using live bait. According to Harold "We stayed put all day, a matter of fact, we only got out of the water one time to each lunch." Captain Chris Castillo located 7 reds 6 trout wade fishing Kelly G. group from Dallas. With extreme high tides, and water falling all morning, Chris targeted the back- country real estate. Captain TJ Christensen hit areas we normally cannot get a boat in, and located schools of reds. He landed 12 reds and several trout for Jason M. and customers. Captain Nathan Beabout guided the other boat with John P. customers but struggled to locate 3 redfish for the day. Captain James Welder guided Brent A. from Victoria and crew with scattered results. He also had a slow day on the bay flats.Fishing may be a lot slower from where we left off before Hurricane Dolly; one can expect this slow down with a category 2 hitting just hours south of the middle coast. As of late, tides are ripping out and winds are calming down, therefore you should see the fishing picking back up.
