7-22-2008 *** ****** FISHIN REPORT BY Ripp ****** Hey Mr. Hershel dat away reel in another Big Red. now dats what i'am talkin about right dare. i want to Thank Hershel R. and guest for fishin with us again today. we started out our mornin with dead shrimp under a slidein sinker but dem reds wasn't as tick today as dey was yesterday so we gonna move on to plan "B" now dey put some big old reds in da boat today and we done someting a lil different for dem, we caught dem Good Reds on gold spoons and Mr. Hershel and crew hasn't done dat before. we got in a couple of lil schools where we could see dem before we casted and dey got to see dem reds swell up behind dem spoons and come up and smack it like a freight train. i told dem it just don't get any better den dat. we was workin hard on our limit cuz dey had some bad weather buildin up on da coast and it was headin our way. i new we wasn't gonna have any problems with our limit da way dem boys was gone. now we had one man stay on da land today, we flat dee wore him out yesterday, he's knot a big fisherman and i tink dats more fish den he ever caught, don't know if its gonna be his last trip down to da bayou with me but dey took enough pictures to last a life time, oh yea you could say dey was makein memories. he sure missed a good day today, just gettin to watch dem redfish chase dat gold spoon is a pretty sight. my man Cecil was right on target today also, i had da older crew and Craig had da younger crew. i tink dey liked fishin with dem gold spoons to but y'all allready know when you can see dem reds before you cast and watch everyting unfold right before your eyes, well if dat don't get your blood pumpin you need to change hobbies. dat shit will get you so excited before you know it you done got your line all tangled up and you can't cast it 2 feet, all you can do is watch dem reds go right on by or watch somebody else in da boat catch one. we was watchin dat weather close come in from da gulf but we made it back to da dock with our limit with no problems. we did get another good group picture of dem back at da dock with dare redfish hangin on da board. hey Terry B. over all i tink Mr. Hershel and crew caught bigger fish den y'all, could it be da fisherman or was it just Luck. OK i just got a call from one of my Buddies and he told me he was Burlin some crabs and shrimp and he also said he might have an extra cold beer or 2. y'all know i can't pass dat up, gotta go for now.
