Tuesday, July 15, 2008*** 7-15-2008 *** ****** FISHIN REPORT BY Ripp ****** What a difference a day and North wind can make, man dats Bull-Shit for us to get 4 days of stiff North wind in mid July. now i started my report yesterday and never got to finish it like i wanted and now i really can't remember all what happened yesterday and no i wasn't over served with Cold Beer either, i'am just gettin old i guess cuz before i didn't forget anyting. y'all know dats pretty sad, i really have to tink hard on what happened today much less yesterday. give myself a hurt head plus watery eyes tinkin so hard. we picked dem boys up bright and early again dis mornin and like yesterday dey was waitin on da dock for us. it was another nice ride out dis mornin but didn't see da sun rise again. we started out pretty much in da same spot but dem reds wasn't waitin on us dis mornin, we started with our gold spoons but we did try some dead shrimp for just a lil bit under a slidein sinker and dat was no good. i tink dat 4 days of stiff North wind had someting to do with dem fish knot bitein or comein up to da surface. we made lots and lots of cast for da redfish we caught and with da tide bein so low we caught lots and lots of sea weed on dem spoons. i can't say to much about Bart today cuz everybody changed boats dis mornin but dey did tell me he had a much better start today den yesterday. i knew he had it in him but it was a long time comein yesterday, he did come alive in da 4th. quarter, i tink he knew he was gonna be da Main Attraction in da Fish Report if he didn't get on da ball and put some fish in da boat. my crew today was pretty good also, we didn't set da world on fire by no means but dey hung in dare with da slow fishin, nobody quit till da very end. after we finish cleanin dare fish from today we bagged all of it up and dey had 1 big big ice chest full of cleaned redfish. dey had to drive da truck to it cuz it was to heavy to carry. OK y'all knot gonna see me tomorrow cuz i have an off day, y'all will know when i'am back. Da Rippulator
