i just went yesterday with capt billy and his mateweb. we first started out catching bait at a buoy and then made a run to a near rig and we put baits in the water and then a bonito. then my son mitch(16) dropped down a butterfly jig and boom a 15 lb tuna so he went into the water. then he made another drop and he hooked up again to about a 65-70lb yf and landed him in an extremely short 10 min fight.so we dropped again n caught another 50lb yf then another drop was made and we caught little blackfin and undersized yf until your arms fell off. so we moved about 20 miles and found blue water n jigged n live baited there and picked up a rainbow runner and a mahi mahi. so we went back to the first rig and started jigging with lucanus jigs and butterfly jigs and picked up 2 blackfin and 3 more yf all about 50-60lb. so we decided to head in due to bad weather nand try to catch snapper on the way in so we stopped at a secret spot and caught 12 snapper in 10 min. so we went in after that. our total catch was 5 yf 2 bf(one got his back end bit off) 12 snapper, 1 mahi mahi and 1 rainbow runner. all of our tuna were all caught jigging none on live bait.
