7/17/2008Today we had the pleasure of taking a group of campers from Quinipet Camp, Shelter Island, fishing. Due to time constraints we stayed in East Marion for the better part of the trip. The kids had some bay blues, a few big choppers..in fact one cut the biggest fluke we had all day in half. The kids had some porgies, many small fluke and lots of fun.I think every kid caught something. Most of them had never gone fishing before. Mike and I always enjoy fishing with youngsters and try hard to insure their trip is a positive experience. By the way, almost all the fish were released
