Fishing offshore below normal for this time of the year. Water conditions largely to blame. I had some pictures that went to the bottom of the marina with the fishing center's camera. A case of fumbleitis. I got a couple of pictures with an older camera. one boat caught and released two white marlin and blue marlin. There were several sailfish caught and released. Inshore deep bottom fishing was good with lots of tile fish, a few groupers and dolphin. In water closer in and not as deep good catches of trigger fish and sea bass were made. Trolling inshore for tailor bluefish and spanish mackerel was very good. open boats caught cobias, jack crevelle, and black tip sharks. Open boats also trolled for spanish mackerel and tailor bluefish. Miss Oregon Inlet had a good morning on croakers. The afternoon was not as good.
