Offshore dolphin, scattered yellowfin tuna and bill fish. There seem to be a lot of sailfish. Five sailfish and two white marlin. Sailfish often are seen swimming close to still boats bottom fishing. Inshore trollers had excellent spanish mackerel fishing both morning and afternoon. Two inshore boats on all day trips caught lots of good size tile fish, a few dolphin, king mackerel and a barrcuda. Three tilefish weighed 12 pounds, two were eleven and a half pounds. Open boats caught sharks mostly black tips and several cobias. Miss Oregon Inlet caught sea mullet and croakers.
