The Tarpon action is starting to pick up. There have already been a few fish caught near 100lbs! Tarpon will continue to migrate in great numbers into our waters during the month of July. The hotter the weather the better the action for Tarpon.

The Redfishing has been very good this Spring and should only get better this Summer. As the water temps rise the Reds get more active feeding on small crabs and shrimp in the marsh flats. Nothing beats sightfishing to a Tailing Red in the marsh with a Fly or Light Tackle. Give it a try!

Ladyfish the smaller cousin of the Tarpon averaging 2-4 lbs. have been running in great numbers. They are a blast on light tackle and fly gear with most of the strikes taking place on or near the surface !

A good number of Shark species are moving in the shallows espeacially Bonnet Head and Black Tip Sharks. Most of these sharks average 15-25lbs but it is not uncommon to hook one well over 60 lbs!

Bluefish, Jack Crevalle & Spanish Mackeral

action is really hot on the sandbars and near shore reefs
