Either that, or Al Gore was right. Richard Clark caught this 18.92# permit at the Frying Pan Tower on a Clarkspoon. Seeing as we have caught goggle eyes and blue runners at the AR 460 in the recent past, the only conclusion I can reasonably draw is that the world is getting warmer. I can only guess what kind of a fight that fish put up when he hooked it. Maybe Capt. Kyle and Capt. Jeff will be snook fishing before too long.
-Capt. Chris Burrows
The World Cat Captained by Captain Chris B. and Captain Rudy returned to the OIFC docks just ahead of a nasty looking storm that has been hanging south of Little River all morning Captain Chris said that when they were off shore they could see lightning off in a distance on shore.
The charter consisted of Brian, Lindy, and Greg Ward of the Richmond area and David and Rick Walden of Memphis Tn. David said they brought Elvis with them, but I couldn't score an interview.
The charter worked the Jungle area using live cigar minnows which they jigged on the numbers at the Jungle rigged with Blue Water Candy blue and white skirts. David caught the king, while Rick and Brian caught the dolphin. Everyone said along with the kings and mahi, they caught a bunch of sharks.
I hope to hear from Captain Brant of the OIFC 1 later and will report on his action then.
