Hi all well the week in review

on Saturday we got out with 59 folks the fishing in the morning was less then stellar, we did a lot of looking around because there was not much to catch. Capt. Mike told me that the fish didn't want to bite Friday until late in the afternoon. And that's what I accepted on Saturday. That was the case they did bite for us at about 2:30. for the 59 anglers we wound up with 295 sand bass, 25 barracuda 17 rock fish. The weather was really nice flat clam little wind and to go along with that good fishing all thou late.

Sunday was more of the same we started in on the beach for not very many sand bass after about a hour and 1/2 I got tired of looking at the fish and went to the islands and we found some good calico bass fishing. I mean Very good calico bass fishing wow. After we got tired of catching them we went back in on the beach to finish up the day and the sand bass chewed the boat would up catching 110 sand bass, 1 California sheep head,80 calico bass,23 barracuda and 10 rock fish.

On Monday Capt. mike had similar results with is 25 anglers catching 125 sand bass 56 calico bass 5 barracuda and one yellow tail, he also said that there were bluefin tuna jumping around the islands which is not uncommon this time of the year, but they are hard to hook. We see them every year maybe you hook two or three but don't get them to bite very often maybe this year.

Yesterday capt mike made it out with 25 anglers and had some of the same fishing he came home with 102 sand bass 70 calico 8 barracuda 2 yellow tails.

Overall the fishing is spectacular we are seeing good signal from the yellow tail. so call the landing and make that reservation 619-222-1144 until later on to day

Have a great fish day
