Right on time out we go on this day of 15 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we jigged and ran an aku live. When Scot baited he hooked a marlin that jumped once and broke line, bummer. Then we had a steady bite with big shibi every pass, it was great fun. Then we had a good size marlin about 300 pounds eat our live bait and start jumping straight towards the boat, I had to floor it to try and keep some tension on the line but it came off in about 45 seconds, not before it made a few boats move out of its way, bummer.
