Keith Vannozi breaks the cherry for 2008 season 7/25/08
Capt's jimmy gahm and dave bender took keith vannozzi of titiusville,nj and friends out to the hudson canyon for a day troll saturday july 25th. we released a dozen small yellowfins, before a nice 40 plus pounder hit the decks. later in the day we ran over the skipjacks and seven rods wet off on much larger fish, after the dust settled we came tight on three of them. the guys did an awesome job on those larger fish and that would be it for us for the day. capt jimmy worked very hard on the wheel searching through some pretty ugly water to no avail. we ran over several pods of breaking skipjack thinking that we would hookup again, but it wasn't to be. all in all the guys and jimy and i had an awesome time for out first canyon trip of the 2008 season. we will see keith and the boys back in october for their annual overnight trip
