July 16, 2008 - Wednesday I had a trip for the Victoria Inn. Christy, Paul and I left the dock around 5:45 am. First stop produced only a couple of keeper drum, but no reds. Finally after trying a half dozen places we put 5 or 6 in the box. After another move we hit the gold mine. As I pulled up to this point I could see 50 or more reds, which easily finished the day for us. By then they were ready to head back to the Inn. Once again I tried several colors but Blk/char caught all the fish

Evening Bass Trip - I have always said anytime my son Keith fishes with me he always manages to catch the largest fish. He, Dave and myself left the house a little after 6, we stopped counting after 70. It was non stop action. Caught a few on a pumpkinseed french fry but purple worms still produced most of the fish. Keith`s fish was a little over 4lbs and Dave had the only redfish. All fished released to fight another day.
