That is the word from the beach. Clams were doing the job for the Kings and short bass but the fluke seem to think the world of the gulp bait! You will have to work for the Fluke. Dead sticking a bait hasn't been very productive. The keeper ratio is still pretty poor but it is entertaining.
The weather looks pretty good according to the highly inaccurate weatherman - Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. Southwest winds around 10 mph. He blew it big time yesterday so bring some raingear.
Mike was getting those blanks out when last seen Sunday evening. If he was able to keep his attention span longer than two eyeblinks, there may just be some new stuff to look at today.According to Mike, his train of thought wasn't derailed - it was just on a siding!

We now have Batson 848, 968, 1087, 1088, 1089, 1266, and 1267 rod blanks in stock. They sure look and act like the Al—r rod blanks we were so fond of before they stopped production. I have built a few and like the results. Maybe we have finally found a replacement…………..Mike
