Capt. Don reported an excellent AM 1/2 trip this morning. A fast drift and bit of a sea on but the fluke and sea bass were snapping at the baits with excellent numbers of both species brought to the net with a bunch of sea bass in the 3lb range and fluke to 5lbs. Plenty of shorts kept anglers occupied as well.

Capt. Rich reported a very good day on the 7am Jumbo fluke/Sea bass boat. For the fourth straight day in a row Fluke sharpie Norm Davis had his limit of nice fluke while Dave from Warwick had his limit of good fluke including a brace of 4lbrs. A number of other anglers had 4 to 7 keepers apiece. A few big fluke in the mix with two 8lb slabs fighting it out for the pool. Quite a few bluefish today as well including several double headers!! Mixed sizes but a couple 10lb ocean blues as well. Just a few nice sea bass today. The fishing was remarkably good considering the slightly sporty sea conditions and very fast drift. Both jigs and bait rigs were productive today. Next 7am boat sails tomorrow morning aboard the Gail Frances.

Capt. George reported due to a fast drift and slightly choppy sea conditions the fluking was not as good as earlier in the day, nevertheless anglers chipped away at a mixed bag of keeper sea bass, nice size scup and some short fluke. Better weather and better fishing returns tomorrow.
