Capt Moore/ Fish With The King SHELL BEACH, LA USAQUICK TRIP AT THE BEACH!! Day number 2 for the Allan Williams group. They had to be back at the dock for 11 am and in Shreveport for 1 pm. That meant we were on a short fuse so we fished close. In my boat we had Benson, the best 8 year old fisherman you have ever seen, 11 year Jack and 16 year old Tracy along with Dad Allan. The fish went nuts and so did the porpoises. We put 70 trout in the boat fast. The porpoises were in the fish for a good 30 minutes and it did not slow them down. We were fishing Campo's Live shrimp and a split shot and the fish were slamming the bait. When that slowed down we made another couple of moves and got on another trout bite. We had non-stop action. Some on a cork some tight lined. Good trout bites. We ended the day with 120 speckled trout in the 12-18 in range. Capt Rory had the rest of the group, Miles, Jack, Jim and his son. They had a good day catching 87 trout in the same size range. Capt Rory will give you the details. The group was back at the dock for 11, they left the lodge at noon with a bunch of speckled trout filets. We had over 380 trout for 2 days fishing a buynch of hogs yesterday.
