Bill's Sport Shop Fishing Report 7/16/08

BILL'S SPORT SHOP has just increased inventory adding an awesome offshore wall with green machines, Islander lures, dolphin, tuna, and king mackerel trolling lures along with fighting belts, lure bags, fish bags, drift anchors and wreck markers. We have also added the Shimano Butterfly System including butterfly jigs and Trevala rods. To complete an offshore jigging outfit, we have the complete line of Calcutta and Avet reels. Butterfish, Bionic and Baitmaster ballyhoo and chum are in stock. Clothing lines by Pelagic, Guy Harvey, Aftco, St. Croix, and Calcutta, Bill Sports Shop and Perms and Worms T's have proven to be big hits with our customers. Guy Harvey watches and an expanded inventory of Costa Del Mar and Calcutta sun glasses are available. We are on the same piece of property, but in the back of the new center.Here are some of the reports we have received since last week:

Capt. George Merrick of "Fish On Charters" reports:

"We caught our under 47inch Bluefin and our over 47inch Bluefins…….These were over fish of 100plus pounds!!!!!!This week its still the same with gaffer Dolphins in the mix."

Rich Goodman caught a 23inch, 6.9lb. Tog at the Outer Wall using Green Crabs.

Scott Smith and Lee Janvier caught 3 Sheepshead up to 11.66lbs and 27inches and also 6 Tog over 16 inches on sand fleas at the Outer Wall.

Jeff Gipe boated a 6.69lb. Tog at the Outer Wall fishing with fleas. Stu Moore and Capt. John Allison were also on board the "Boat". The team reported 20 more Tog and Triggerfish

Pete Stewart caught Sea Bass, Ling Cod and a 19" Flounder along with several other shorts.

Rick Cauler fished the Indian River Bay and weighed in a citation 8.50lb. Flounder on gulp.
