7/23/08 UPDATED 12:22 PM Just got over to the shop to put a quick order in and it's not like over in Toms River. The light northest wind, which will benefit us in the longrun, has put a haze over the shore area blocking out most of the sun, but there is still no rain.UPDATED 11:33 AM Amazingly, or maybe not so much, we avoided any and all thunderstorms yesterday. I didn't see a drop of rain fall in Toms River or Seaside Park and today looks like the same thing. The sun is shinning again and the weather is beautiful. The same things are going on with the fishing right now. Lot's of little fluke, some little bass with the occassional keeper thrown in there, bluefish in the bay and lots of fluke as well. Crabbing slowed a little with the recent full moon, but is back in fuill swing again. My wife and I are prolly going to go crabbing today for a weekend BBQ.
